Who would think that green tea would be bad for you?  5c50f2b4-4c37-450f-9d9a-78f4cbc9869d.ai-previewMany of you know how I ‘bang on’ about how people become intolerant to foods/drinks because of using them too often. Green tea is creeping up the rankings…FAST.

Four young women in the last week…all of whom were sensible, healthy eaters, They had all read online and in health magazines how healthy green tea is, and were having more than three cups daily, in the assumption that the more you have the better for you it will be.

But it doesn’t work like that with food intolerance. In someone with a family history of allergy or intolerance, there is a strong likelihood of building up an intolerance to ANYTHING. Not just dairy or wheat but any food or drink consumed more than twice daily.

Hot drinks are hot suspects for me, as many people consume their tea, coffee or other more ‘healthy’ drinks like camomile and peppermint several times a day.

So for those of you who cannot get to me for a test, consider whether your poison is your favourite drink, however healthy it is.
